Product IntroductionThe Y310L is designed and manufactured on the coulometric oxygen sensor principle and meets GB/T 19789, ASTM D3985 and related standards. Equipped with an imported high-precision oxygen sensor, it provides accurate oxygen transmission rate testing for films, sheets, paper, packaging and related materials used in food, pharmaceutical, medical device, daily chemical, photovoltaic and electronic industries. It supports a wide measurement range for high, medium and low barrier materials.
Testing PrincipleThe Y310L uses the coulometric method. The conditioned sample is mounted between the upper and lower chambers. High-purity oxygen flows in the upper chamber while high-purity nitrogen (carrier gas) flows in the lower chamber. Oxygen molecules permeate the sample, diffuse into the nitrogen and are carried to the coulometric sensor. The instrument calculates OTR by analyzing the sensor-measured oxygen concentration.
