Product IntroductionThis tester is designed on the coulometric oxygen sensor principle and conforms to GB/T 19789, ASTM D3985 and related international standards. Equipped with a high-precision imported oxygen sensor, it delivers accurate oxygen transmission rate (OTR) measurement. It is intended for OTR testing of films, sheets, paper, packages and related materials in food, pharmaceutical, medical device, personal care, photovoltaic and electronics sectors, supporting a wide dynamic range for high, medium and low barrier materials.
Testing PrincipleThe Y310 2.0 uses the coulometric method. The pretreated sample is clamped in the test cell; high-purity oxygen flows in the upper chamber while high-purity nitrogen (carrier) flows in the lower chamber. Oxygen permeating the sample diffuses into the carrier gas and is detected by the sensor. OTR is calculated from the measured oxygen concentration.
