"All-in-one" stepper motors ColibriStep is our compact stepper motor drive. The complete control is housed in a compact housing, which is connected directly to the motor. All electrical connections to the entire system are made via plug connectors. The configuration and programming can be done via the USB interface using the PC software “BAC-CFG”. For versions with fieldbus, all parameters can alternatively be set via the fieldbus. We offer the stepper motors with integrated controls in various sizes from 0.5Nm to 10Nm. The motor is supplied with 24 to 60VDC and a separate logic supply with 24 VDC including polarity reversal protection. Thanks to its versatility with interfaces such as Profibus, Profinet, CAN bus and RS485, it can be adapted to almost any control system. The high protection class of up to IP54 and operation without external ventilation up to 50°C ambient temperature make the Colibri drive also suitable for robust applications. Absolute encoders and brakes are also available as options.
