TIG TITAN 400 A DC WELDING UNIT Ideal for precision welding on high-alloy metals, the TITAN 400 DC features TACK mode, the ultimate in tacking. Ideal for professional welders of stainless steel tubes, pipes or sheets. • 2 processes: TIG DC and MMA (rutile, basic and cellulosic electrodes up to Ø 6 mm) • 2 pointing modes: SPOT mode (traditional pointing) and TACK mode (ultra-precise, oxidation-free pointing) • E-TIG mode: ensures constant bead width and penetration, whatever the position of the torch in relation to the workpiece • Welding current up to 400 A (400 A at 60% in TIG & MMA) • Pulsed mode for TIG welding. Limits the melting temperature and allows welding of sheets as small as 0.3 mm. • Pulsed mode for MMA welding. Ideal for rising vertical welds and various applications such as pipes and pipelines. • Intuitive interface with voltage/current display • Calibration mode for welding accessories, to adjust the displayed voltage measurement and refine the energy calculation. • ENERGY mode, for displaying and calculating post-weld energy to EN1011-1, ISO/TR 18491 and QW-409 standards • Connect 5 mode to control the generator from a console or PLC (5 pre-recorded programmes) • Can be connected to the WCU1KW C cooling unit (ref. 013537)
