Orifice plate 1090

Diameter range DN 40–DN 200 Pressure rating PN 10 I PN 16 The adjustable orifice plate is used to adjust flow rates at constant pressure. To change the flow rate, the valve plate can be twisted to expand or narrow the opening. If the opening is expanded at constant pressure, the flow rate through the orifice plate increases. On the other hand, if the opening is narrowed at a constant pressure, the flow rate decreases. Recommended measurement and flow-calming sections before and after the orifice plate: 2–3 x DN. An adjustable wrench is available to adjust the orifice plate more easily. (See accessories) The orifice plate cannot be used as a shut-off valve (cannot be closed 100%).
