The test stand is a system for testing fittings on hinges and folding mechanisms as found in the furniture industry.
The test bench contains a servomotor-driven swivel unit, which is mounted above a base plate and is suitable for weighing. It can be adjusted in height on the machine frame by means of two linear guides, which facilitates the installation and alignment of the test specimens. The horizontal alignment of the test specimens to the swivel axis is achieved by positioning the test specimens on the base plate.
The system is based on a frame made of aluminium profiles and a steel plate mounted on it with a bore grid M10 on which aluminium profiles with linear guides perpendicular to the swivel unit are mounted next to the base plate.
The system is equipped with a protective fence on all sides, which is attached directly to the basic frame of the machine. This means that transport can be carried out as a whole if required. The safety fence can be opened at the front of the machine and to the right of it by a swing door.
The transmission of the swivel movement to the test piece is carried out by a bracket, which is taken up on both sides by swivel levers. This means that the realized pivot point can lie within the component to be tested, since no continuous axis is used in the pivot point. In addition, the radius of the load introduction is continuously adjustable in the range of R100-R400.
