Leveling machine

The GEORG high-performance leveller offers integrated, semi- and fully automatic changing systems with sets of levelling rolls in in six-high or four-high design, according to customer requirements. The changing cassettes can be easily installed or dismantled with their different levelling roll diameters. This increases the levelling possibilities considerably. The setting values of levellers can be recalled any time by the optimized visualization at the control desk. Operation instructions and error messages inform of the line status in real time. Due to the compact main drive the unit requires only small space. The gears are carried in anti-friction bearings are case-hardened, with ground flanks and bearing seats. The required high torques for the levelling of high-strength strip material with the smallest possible levelling diameters are transmitted by universal ball joint shafts with reinforced clevis‘ and balls. For improved cooling and lubrication of the sliding surfaces the joints are lubricated from the inside.
