The Herbort 780 is suited for efficient washing of green and wax beans, small beans and leaf vegetables such as spinach, kale, parsley etc. The 780 consists of three sections. The first sections consists of a collecting trough for stones with a continuous stone removal and a twin washing trough with two great dimensioned cleaning flaps. A product discharge belt is flanged to the trough. The water level can be regulated by a sheet cover; The water flow is cleaned continuously by a vibration chute which removes dirt particles such as stalks etc. There is water collecting with flanged water conveying pump under the discharge belt; conveying capacity up to 160 cm³/h. The pump produces a horizontal and vertical stream; the horizontal stream for the conveying of beans and the vertical stream to avoid a loss trough sinking. All nozzles assemblies can be regulated by flap valves. Additional spraying of the product care for a higher water turbulence and intensify the cleaning efficiency.
