One of our Tier 1 automotive clients required a highly durable and dimensionally stable front beam component for a premium vehicle's sunroof system. This part needed to be lightweight yet reinforced, combining engineering-grade plastic with a custom-shaped metal insert. HLC developed a high-precision insert injection molding tool, integrating metal inserts during the molding cycle to ensure a strong mechanical bond without requiring secondary assembly. The mold was designed for fully automatic production, with robust alignment and insert loading features to maximize efficiency.
