The Hosokawa Alpine AFS fine cutting mill grinds brittle and hard plastics economically into a fine powder, at consistently high product quality. It processes pre-shredded thermoplastics and thermosets with a particle size of 5–10 mm. Through multi-stage size reduction and classification, the AFS achieves fineness values of d50 = 300 µm and d90 = 700 µm, which can be flexibly matched to your product using additional screen decks. The automated system delivers high throughput with minimal operator input.
