The M1 is a thermal conductivity meter from Hot Disk that tests solids, powders and pastes in the thermal conductivity range of 0.03 to 40 W/m/K. It can work a sample sizes as small as 40 mm with thickens of at least 10 x 10 mm. This device performs at 2.5 to 160 seconds of measurement time, and generates a reproducibility of more that 3%. It generates a more than 5% accuracy, and operates at temperatures from 10 °C to 40 °C. It has wireless control and data analysis using an iPad, and exports and stores data using DropBox or iTunes.
