Description

Turkey's medium and automotive technology are one of the most important priority areas in science and technology in the long term. In the automotive industry and in places where special production is required, servo presses are frequently preferred for metal forming purposes with their features such as flexibility, simplicity in their structure, easy controllability, high speed and low energy consumption. Servo press technology combines the advantages of hydraulic and conventional mechanical presses without any disadvantages. However, the design phase and proper motor selection are important in terms of precision and economy. Although there are servo presses with different mechanisms in our country, there are not enough machines to compete in the international market. Hürsan Pres decided to start this project in order to meet the intense demand from customers. In the study, it is planned to design and manufacture a mechanical servo press that can be used in metal forming as a prototype. At the end of the project, the company will be provided with a mechanical servo press design and manufacturing guide and will be added to the company's product catalog. The output of the project will come to the fore in the domestic and foreign markets by meeting the needs of the metal forming industry, especially the automotive sector, with its high technical features and low price. With this project output, which is planned to provide high added value, new for the company, environmentally friendly and strong compared to its competitors, Hürsan Press will increase its productivity, income and competitiveness.
