The ID-909 offers customers a self-contained test environment for the evaluation of Powder Volume Resistivity.
With resistivity ranges extending to measure a maximum of 1016 Ω meters, the instrument is well suited for the evaluation of enamel powders used within the powder coating industry.
Control of test parameters is achieved using a 5.0” high resolution touch-screen where test results are displayed in numerical form and on a simple to read digital meter.
Setting of the instrument parameters such as zero functions are automated making the ID-909 easy to use within a laboratory or production environment by QC personnel.
The instrument can also be supplied with a network interface making it possible to control and review test results remotely over Ethernet or USB.
Building on the success of the ID-465, the Model 909 Powder Resistivity Meter is provided with a spécial improved test cell and digital interface to enable accurate and reproducible measurements of powder resistivity.
This is important because powder resistivity is a parameter particularly relevant to successful operation of any electrostatic powder coating process. Resistivity measurements are displayed directly in ohm-metres. The test Voltage applied can be varied between 400V and 1000V on ranges up to 1010 and from 4000V to 10000V on ail other ranges
The reading displayed is automatically compensated in relation to the voltage applied.
