The ID-909 offers customers a self-contained test environment for the evaluation of Powder Volume Resistivity. With resistivity ranges extending to measure a maximum of 1016 Ω meters, the instrument is well suited for the evaluation of enamel powders used within the powder coating industry. Control of test parameters is achieved using a 5.0” high resolution touch-screen where test results are displayed in numerical form and on a simple to read digital meter. Setting of the instrument parameters such as zero functions are automated making the ID-909 easy to use within a laboratory or production environment by QC personnel. The instrument can also be supplied with a network interface making it possible to control and review test results remotely over Ethernet or USB. Building on the success of the ID-465, the Model 909 Powder Resistivity Meter is provided with a spécial improved test cell and digital interface to enable accurate and reproducible measurements of powder resistivity. This is important because powder resistivity is a parameter particularly relevant to successful operation of any electrostatic powder coating process. Resistivity measurements are displayed directly in ohm-metres.
