Product Overview
The IMC PVC Pipe Threading Machine cuts external threads on PVC pipes using a tangential chaser and rotating die head. It supports parallel and taper thread forms including BSPT, BSW, BSP, NPT, UNF, METRIC, UNC, ACME and BSF, enabling compatibility with common pipe fittings.

Design and Workmanship
IMC thread cutting machines are engineered for industrial pipe preparation and manufactured to maintain thread tolerances required for mechanical and hydraulic connections.

Head Stock
Heavy-duty geared head box with high-quality casting to support spindle bearings; gear-type lubrication and three extra heavy-duty bearings ensure sustained operation under load.

The Bed
Pillar-type bed with two precision steel pillars, finished and hard chrome plated for wear resistance and alignment stability.

The Saddle
The saddle runs on the pillars with precise alignment to the head stock to ensure concentricity during threading operations.

The Apron
The apron transmits movement to the saddle via steel rack-and-pinion arrangements; gears are manufactured from high-grade steel for durability.

Vice Jaws
Alloy-steel vice jaws, heat treated and fitted to the saddle in a heavy-duty box-type vice; saddle movement controlled by a screw for accurate clamping and positioning.

Available capacities: 1/4" to 1"; 3/8" to 1.1/2"; 1/2" to 2.1/2". Model families cover 10 mm up to 250 mm pipe diameters.
