Product description
The SONO-Vario Xtrem is suitable for measuring sand and gravel, as well as highly abrasive materials such as coarse gravel or grit. The replaceable probe head is made of hardened steel with a rectangular window made of special ceramic.

• Sliding carriage highly wear-resistant — With WIDIA sliding surface; suitable for SONO VARIO Xtrem CARBIDE; material 1.0037 (structural steel).
• Universal bracket — Tilting mechanism with retaining head; adjustable in three dimensions; stainless steel plate V2A; ideal for mounting under the silo discharge.
• Cables — SONO sensor cable available in 4 m, 10 m and 25 m; 6 twisted pair cables, 6 x 2 x 0.25 mm², shielded; 10‑pin MIL connector. Fixed cable gland option with 5 m sensor cable; IP67.
• Extension tube (rod sensor) — Stainless steel V2A, material 1.4301, ø inside: 45 mm, ø outside: 55 mm.
