NOTES IPLK is a press-in expansion insert designed for use in thermoplastic moldings. It has been developed to give the ease of installation associated with this type of fastener but without the high screw installation torque which has previously been typical. The incorporation of plain and knurled vanes gives levels of pulled-out and torque resistance usually expected from heat installed inserts.
