OverviewThe BA 1000 barometric pressure sensors are designed to measure and display barometric (absolute) pressure. The transmitter provides an electrical output proportional to pressure and can operate from different supply voltages.
Measurement principleThe sensor core is a vacuum-sealed elastic copper sensing cell; its deflection under atmospheric pressure is measured by non-contact induction. The transmitter converts this deflection into a proportional electrical signal.
Main features- Measurement type: absolute (barometric) pressure
- Range: 80 to 120 kPa
- Uncertainty: ±1% of span
- Outputs: 0..10 V and 0/4..20 mA
- Ingress protection: IP54
- Optional display: 3½-digit indicator
- Power supply: 24 V AC/DC or 115–230 V AC
Options and servicesAltitude compensation can be applied for installation sites from 0 to 850 m above sea level. Optionally supplied with calibration certificate (COFRAC, COFRAC-equivalent or COFRAC-traceable).
Usage notesTransmitter suitable for indication and signal transmission in environments requiring IP54 protection. Power supply compatible with 24 V DC or 115–230 V AC networks.
