Applications and models
These centrifugal direct-drive condensers are designed for outdoor installation, in basements or inside engine rooms where an air pressure supporting the duct pressure losses is required. Intersam offers the ICC and ICCI series. Each series includes different models according to the number and characteristics of the ducts. Units can be supplied adapted to installation needs and allow the air outlet to be oriented in different directions.

Design and modularity
The exterior structure is built from independent galvanized sheet metal modules for each fan, resulting in a compact, rigid assembly that helps reduce vibration. All parts and panels are removable to facilitate motor maintenance. The air outlet is configurable so the unit can be installed vertically or horizontally using anchoring brackets.

Condenser coils and frame
Condensing coils are manufactured from 1/2 in copper tube with corrugated aluminum fins, fin spacing 2.1 mm. Coils are inserted inside the structure, providing a compact and robust assembly. The frame is made of galvanized sheet metal and supplied with protective collars. Copper collectors include loading/service valves to ensure a leak-free installation.

Fans and motors
Fans are double-inlet centrifugal type with a direct-drive motor on the impeller shaft. The commercial series (ICC) is supplied with direct drive; the industrial series (ICCI) is supplied with pulleys. Motors can be supplied single-phase 220 V / 50 Hz or three-phase 230–400 V / 50 Hz. The complete assembly is installed on a base with an anti-vibration system. Motors are connected to a watertight general junction box complying with IP-55 protection.

Environmental and refrigerants
Units are compatible with environmentally friendly refrigerants. Manufacturing practices include material recycling and control of resource consumption (water, oil, energy) to reduce environmental impact.
