Waffle stuffing dosing machine SDM is designed for stuffing of blanks tubes workpieces with various fillings:
• condensed milk and “Varenka” type creams;
• oil and fat creams;
• Cremfil-type confectionery fillings;
• jams and confitures.
It is possible to use fillings with inclusions (crushed nut, air rice, caramelized fruits, etc.) when installing a rotary cam pump.
The machine has 2 modifications:
• SDM-2 for semi-automatic operation with manual loading of empty tubes (sleeves) into the supply hopper.
• SDM-2A with extended conveyor length for product stabilization and automated tube gripping after baking and twisting.
Principle of operation:
Tubes are filled simultaneously with stuff of 2 pcs. 4 needles are installed on the machine – 2 on each side. The intake of empty tubes (sleeves) is from a manual hopper or from a twist device. Before dosing, the machine checks for tubes in the conveyor cells. If one cell is empty and the other with a tube, the sleeve is blown off the conveyor. If both cells are empty, the next 2 positions are moved. Empty cells are not dosed.
SDM features:
• The machine operates stably only in a continuous cycle.
• The machine functions correctly only with stable dimensions and correct sleeve geometry. Suitable tubes are produced only on automated furnaces and twisting assemblies.
• Filling pumps are sensitive to air ingress.
