The ZRD-T1 Paper Softness Tester is a device designed to objectively measure the softness of paper products, such as tissues, toilet paper, or specialty papers. Softness is a complex tactile property influenced by factors like surface smoothness, flexibility, and bulk compressibility. It is widely used in industries such as tissue manufacturing, hygiene product development, textiles, and packaging to ensure compliance with quality standards and end-user comfort requirements. - Product Features: - 7-inch color touchscreen with graphical user interface (GUI). - High precision sensors ensure high accuracy and repeatability of the force measurement system, and also provide sensor overload protection. - Equipped with micro-printer and standard USB interface. Working Principle: The Paper Softness Tester measures the surface texture and compressibility of paper by simulating the tactile sensation of human touch. Using a standardized mechanical probe, it evaluates both flexibility and smoothness to provide an accurate softness index.
