The YLY-H Polariscope Strain Viewer uses the principle of the polarized light method and offers two measurement modes: qualitative and quantitative. It is widely used for testing the internal stress of various glassware and glass containers. - Product Features: - 4.3-inch color touch screen display of optical path difference and real-time stress value. - The instrument adopts high precision absolute encoder, measuring accuracy is better than 2.0nm. - Users can select qualitative or quantitative test modes. - The test space of the instrument can be adjusted for a wider range of applications. - Instrument can store at least 200 datasets with 50 measurements per dataset. - This instrument meets the requirements for multiple levels of user authorization. - Automatically save test records, query locally and export to computer in Excel format. - Equipped with micro-printer and standard USB interface. - Test Principle: The tester utilizes the principle of polarized light interference to examine the internal stress in glass or the birefringence effect in crystals. Equipped with sensitive color plates and employing the 1/4 wave plate compensation method, the polarizing stress meter can qualitatively or semi-quantitatively measure the optical path difference in glass based on the interference color sequence observed in the polarizing field.
