Description

The W301 Water Vapor Permeability Tester is based on the gravimetric determination method and can be used to test the water vapor transmission rate of plastic films, composite films, sheets, packages, bottles and other materials used in the packaging, medical, and construction industries.

Test Principle
Using the gravimetric determination method, the tester creates a constant humidity difference between the two sides of the test specimen at a specified temperature. Water vapor permeates through the specimen and moves to the dry side. By measuring the weight changes of the test dish over time, the water vapor transmission rate and other related parameters can be determined.
