A full-color, backlit touchscreen makes TEC3000 Series Smart Thermostat configuration and control easy—and that’s just the beginning.
New ventilation features promote occupant health
The TEC3000 includes several powerful new ventilation features that allow building operators to confidently safeguard their buildings’ occupants, by configuring air changes that help reduce the concentration of airborne infectious particles.
The epidemic control ventilation feature removes pathogens by flooding an unoccupied facility with outdoor air. It adheres to guidance from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) for building reopening and readiness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new features also include occupant sensor ventilation, which reduces the rate of outdoor air flow when occupants are not present. And, when the TEC is paired with CO2 sensors, the demand controlled ventilation feature allows the operator to choose a safe CO2 setpoint and monitor the building’s CO2 values over BACnet.
More connections
Available in networked, wireless or standalone models, this all-new controller is ideal for multiple applications with both traditional and Smart Equipment:
Building automation and controls systems, including Verasys®, Metasys® and Facility Explorer®
Two- or four-pipe fan coils
Rooftop units with or without economizers and heat pumps
All TEC models now support scheduled circulation, controlling supply fans. TEC rooftop unit and heat pump models support dehumidification, initiating the AUX relay when humidity exceeds the set limit. And FCU models now offer better fan control
