Overview
The DRAIN HEATER is an anti-freezing device designed to maintain continuous condensate flow in compressed air condensate discharge systems operating in very cold environments. It prevents ice formation in condensate drains and preserves reliable discharge performance.

Compatibility

• Compatible with KAPTIV-CS, MAGY and NUFORS-CR models; applicable to SMART GUARD installations.

Applications / Features

• Prevents freezing of level-sensed condensate drains in extreme cold conditions.
• Ensures reliable condensate discharge where pipework is exposed to low ambient temperatures or not insulated.
• Field-mountable on indicated JORC drain models; illustrated in product imagery.

Notes
If the pipework feeding and leaving the drain is insulated, an anti-freezing device is typically not required. JORC drains are manufactured from materials selected for performance in extreme cold; the DRAIN HEATER is recommended where freezing risk exists.
