OverviewThe JUMO IPC 300 is an electronic transformer for control of heating loads using amplitude control. Mains current is proportional to required power, reducing flicker and harmonics while lowering energy costs and extending the service life of MoSi2 and SiC heating elements.
Highlights- Reduced reactive power and network disturbances
- Lower electricity and operating costs
- Improved plant availability
Technical data (table)Service: Up to 40 kW
Operating mode: Amplitude control
Subordinate control loop: U², P, I²
Output: Analog output 0(4)–20 mA, 0(2)–10 V or 0(1)–5 V
Display: LCD with plain text display
Operation: Keypad on the device
Configuration: Setup program with parameter transfer via USB interface without voltage supply (USB powered); keys and display
Protective functions: Short-circuit control during activation, r-control, integrated semiconductor fuses for ground-fault protection
Interface: PROFINET, Modbus-RTU
Special features: Gentle mains operation with high-power resistive loads (reduced flicker); minimal harmonics; aging compensation for SiC heating rods with indication when voltage reserve is insufficient; control independent of heating element resistance characteristic; MoSi2 heating element overheat protection
Dimensions: 348.6 × 300 × 217 mm or 403.5 × 300 × 257.5 mm
