This opto-isolated unit is designed to convert USB to RS485 industrial busses, providing a reliable interface for industrial communication. Use RS485-USB-M12M5M8M17 for seamless integration. When connected to a PC USB port, the module is automatically detected and installed as a native COM port, ensuring compatibility with any existing serial communication application. Multiple modules can be installed using USB hubs, allowing for hassle-free configuration of a multi-serial system. The converter is opto-isolated and can be connected to any JVL motor running RS485 with 5-pin, 8-pin, or 17-pin connectors. The maximum number of devices in the RS485 network is 32, and the maximum RS485 cable length is up to 1200 meters.
