Description

Description
The Kaye LabWatch IoT cloud-based environmental and facility monitoring system provides continuous monitoring, alarm management and compliant data archiving for laboratories, warehouses, biobanks and production sites. The system connects sites via secure VPN, detects alarm conditions in real time, alerts personnel through configurable notification channels, and stores monitored values securely in the cloud for reporting and regulatory documentation. Web browser and mobile access with Multi‑Factor Authentication enable remote review of live sensor data, alarm status and historical records. The solution scales from single-site deployments to multi-site/global installations and integrates with Kaye Netpac II and Kaye RF ValProbe for wired and wireless data collection.

Key features / capabilities
  • Cloud-based architecture with secure VPN connectivity and audit trail for regulatory compliance
  • Real-time alarm detection and configurable multi-channel notifications (mobile app, email, SMS, audio)
  • Secure cloud storage and archived monitored values for reporting and compliance
  • Access via web browser and mobile app with Multi‑Factor Authentication support
  • Scalable to document any number of chambers or assets without paper records
  • Integrations available: Kaye Netpac II (wired) and Kaye RF ValProbe (wireless)

Measurement hardware
  • Compatibility with Netpac II wired modules and RF ValProbe wireless loggers; hybrid configurations supported
  • Redundant data storage across loggers, base stations and cloud; optional local SD backup
  • Remote access and system management via browser or mobile app
  • Professional services: specification, installation, IQ/OQ, training, calibration and technical support

Typical applications
  • Warehouses and cleanrooms
  • Blood banks and biobanks
  • Pharmacies and production areas

Technical specifications (selected)
Netpac II wired modules: modular capacity 8–64 channels (increments of 8); inputs ±55 mV to ±10 V, 0–1 mA/4–20 mA, thermocouples, RTD (Pt‑100/Cu‑10), dry contacts. Outputs: relay and analog. Power: 24 VDC, 115 VAC, 230 VAC. Communications: TCP/IP (LAN). Typical operating environment: 0–60°C, 0–95% RH non‑condensing.

RF ValProbe wireless loggers: internal sensor −20 to +60°C (accuracy ~0.6°C), external probe −196 to +200°C (accuracy 0.1°C for 0–60°C), RH 0–100% (typical 2% accuracy), auxiliary inputs (dry contact, 0–10 V, 4–20 mA). RF: 2.4 GHz SmartMesh, base station up to 100 nodes, typical node‑to‑node range ~90 m. Logger memory up to 10,000 samples; SD backup optional; battery life ~8000 h at 1‑min sampling.
