The KENDRION OMW Vibratory Feeder Drive is a ready-to-install AC oscillating drive for feeding technology, producing an arc-shaped vibratory movement for precise and reliable bulk-material transport. It is supplied as a pre-finished system including springs, coils, armature and base; only the linear feeder rail needs to be mounted on top.
Design and operation- The magnetic body of the oscillating solenoid is fixed to the base and contains the excitation winding; the armature plate is mounted above with pole faces separated by an air gap and connected to the base by angled leaf springs.
- There is a tensile force between armature and magnetic body. When alternating current is applied to the excitation coil the alternating electromagnetic force overlaps the bias force (and, for magnet type OMW 516004, the permanent magnet force). The armature moves at the AC frequency and, aided by the angled leaf springs, performs an arc-shaped vibratory movement that transports bulk material.
