Short descriptionCustomized Induction Heating from Kendrion provides tailored inductive heating systems and compact heating modules designed for precise, dynamic and homogeneous heat generation in industrial processes. These systems combine power electronics, control & communication and temperature measurement into configurable solutions adapted to specific application requirements.
Main functions- Power section: State-of-the-art semiconductor switches deliver high efficiencies at operating frequencies up to 50 kHz. Power classes reach up to 50 kW total, with up to 10 kW per channel and up to 8 independent channels. Output stages are short-circuit-proof and designed for continuous operation.
- Control and Communication: Microcontroller-based control implements temperature control, system monitoring, adaptation of inductors to output stages and communication via fieldbuses (e.g. EtherCAT) with a master control.
- Temperature measurement: Temperature of heated workpieces is detected using industrial sensors such as PT1000/PT100 or thermocouples; measurement can be integrated on power electronics or as a separate unit.
