Collet compatibility

Design & application

• Designed to work with bar pushers/barfeeders and to mount directly to lathe spindles or via precision adaptor plates
• Long body and wide range to accommodate high-accuracy spring collets while maximising external tool clearance; series capacities up to 80 mm
• Fixed-length collet keeps the workpiece position stable during actuation for precise Z-axis positioning; tapered sleeve compresses the collet to grip the workpiece
• First & second operation capability: Varibore and rubberflex for rough unfinished bar (first op), spring collets for high accuracy (second op)
• Supplied with mounting bolts; optional custom machined drawtube connector available for immediate installation
• Case-hardened components for optimized rigidity and long service life; direct-mount design for high concentricity at speed
