UltiFlex® – Ultra-flexible, smoothbore PTFE hose range. When space is an issue, but a smoothbore is a must for an uninterrupted flow and ease of cleaning. Also for arduous applications where strength and resilience coupled with PTFE’s unique qualities are required. Bespoke UltiFlex® PTFE hose assemblies are available directly from KA with non-lined or lined (Tafted / Flared) end fittings to improve cleanliness, remove or reduce bug traps and improve the ability to clean in place (CIP) & Sterilize in Place (SIP). - Applications: For any Industry – Pharmaceutical, Bio-tech, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Petro-chemical, General Purpose Industrial, Automotive OE & Autosport - Design: 3/4” - 1 1/4” Patented manufacture of Smoothbore, convoluted PTFE hose construction - Inner layer construction: FDA approved Virgin or Anti-static PTFE tube - Outer Layer construction: 3/4” - 1 1/4” 304/316SS braid - Temperature range: -60°C to +260°C (-76°F to +500°F) - Material: PTFE T62X according to “ASTM D4895, Type 1, Grade4, Class B” - Certification: In Compliance; FDA, EU Food, USP Class VI, Anti-static (AS), EN;16643 & Material Certification. - Other: Antistatic liners are available for the UltiFlex range for when electrically resistive fluids are being transferred at high flow rates.
