Description

The CL-700A is a compact, lightweight illuminance spectrophotometer for accurate spectral and illuminance measurement from visible to near-infrared wavelengths. It supports single-head operation or multi-unit matrix measurements (up to 15 units) for uniformity and area analysis.

Key features
  • Spectral range 360–1000 nm with 1 nm output pitch
  • Illuminance range 0.01 to 200,000 lx (chromaticity accuracy guaranteed ≥ 0.5 lx)
  • Fast measurement modes (Super FAST ≤ 0.3 s, FAST ≤ 0.5 s, NORMAL variable)
  • Matrix measurement up to 15 measurement heads for large-area uniformity checks
  • Data outputs: CRI (Ra), TM-30, TLCI, chromaticity, CCT, EML, PPFD, Ee(λ), spectral graph
  • Connectivity: USB-C (USB 2.0) and Ethernet PoE (IEEE 802.3af)
  • Compact form factor (80 × 170.5 × 35 mm), weight ≈ 214 g — integration-friendly

Functions and integration
  • Spectroscopic measurement optimized for VIS and NIR source characterization and sensor testing
  • Automatic zero calibration and wavelength correction; user calibration import/export
  • Continuous, averaged and multi-point measurement; SDK and dedicated software for automation, real-time display and data export
  • Multiple colour-matching functions (CIE 1931/1964/170-2) and advanced indices (TM-30-20, TLCI, SDCM)

Main applications
  • Nocturnal environment evaluation and low-light studies
  • Low-light performance testing for smartphone cameras and imaging sensors
  • Inspection and characterization of industrial light sources (including 360 nm) and NIR sources for security/defence
  • Uniformity assessment for architectural lighting, projectors, floodlights and street lighting
  • Horticultural lighting measurements (PPFD) and greenhouse lighting inspection

Accessories
  • Standard: protective cap CL-A14, wrist strap CR-A73, USB-C cable IF-A49
  • Recommended: soft carry case CL-A13
