The most commonly used shoring and lining system in unstable soil conditions, designed for high structural capacity and ease of handling on trench works.

Overview
The double slide rails are kept parallel by a stiff rectangular frame that acts as struts. The frame can slide vertically during the dig-and-cut (havage) method and can be lifted after excavation to provide sufficient clearance. Independent action on each element simplifies installation and removal and reduces ground friction forces.
