Description
The LABWIT ZXSD-B1160 BOD incubator is designed for laboratory incubation tasks such as BOD determination, cultivation of microorganisms, sample preservation, Drosophila culture and enzymatic assays. It provides precise and stable temperature control and can operate at a single setpoint or follow a program of up to 9 temperature segments within a sequence (18 steps). The refrigeration compressor runs continuously and is regulated by a solenoid valve for accurate control when temperatures below ambient are required. A backup program preserves settings in the event of power interruptions so experiments resume under the same conditions.
