The TowerMark Z laser marking system is extremely versatile and can be operated either manually or in combination with a loading/unloading robot. It is an extremely compact system as all components, including the vacuum system (optional), are integrated into the structure. Should there be a need to mark longer parts, the machine can be equipped with 500mm or 1000mm side boxes.
The door can be either manual or pneumatic and monitoring of the marking cycle is facilitated by the internal lighting system and large inspection glass. The support surface is 750x500mm and the laser marking area can range from ø100mm up to ø310mm depending on the lens.
The TowerMark Z axis is controlled by a motor with encoder. The maximum marking height is 400mm with ø140mm marking area lens. The slide rail is with recirculating ball bearing and has two runners instead of the more traditional single element for more precise movement.
The Towermark Z is prepared for the immediate upgrade of several elements: the TTL vision system for centring marking on small products or reading and grading 2D codes; the rotary axis for cylindrical parts; a table with 300mm travel to increase the working area; a high-definition side vision system in the X-axis version and a sheet tensioner for thin sheets.
To increase productivity, TowerMark Z is prepared both mechanically and electrically for X-axis insertion, which is done through a quick and easy process. This allows the head to be moved along a 500mm axis to achieve a marking area of 600x100mm (with focal length FFL160).
