Safety relay protection module LA017

Enables the activation ofbistable relay with a single signal and protects the bistable relay from incorrect opération. In this way, a previously monostable application can be converted to a bistable application without additional means. During opération, the operating voltage pin I and pin2 (ground) must be présent contlnuously. Ifinput pin 3 is energised for any amount oftime to a voltage level > 8 Volt, the electronics ensure that the pull-in coil ofthe relay is connected for a defined time and the contact permanently closes (until activation ofthe drop-out coil). Ifinput pin 3 doesnotreach a threshold value of5Volt forât least250 ms, the electronics ensure that the drop-out coil ofthe relay is connected for a defined time and the contact permanently closes (until activation ofthe pull-in coil). In addition the electronics monitor the vol- tage and prevent improper switching processes being triggered ifundervoltage occurs. A switch-on delay andswitch-offdelay are possible as an option (0.. 10800 sec).
