Advice from our Lenoir-Mec experts: Optimal positioning: Adjust the suspension height between 200 and 500 mm depending on the depth of ferrous material in the flow. Regular checks: Check the tension and condition of the conveyor belt (wear, tears), the alignment of the drums and the proper functioning of the drive motor on a monthly basis. Periodic cleaning: Clean the belt and drums weekly to remove any potential residue. Adaptation to material flow: For flows with a high ferrous content (>5% by mass), reduce the speed of the main conveyor belt or increase the suspension height to avoid overloading the overband.
