Overview
Polyester labels are the choice when identification must last: they withstand abrasion, solvents and heat without smudging or lifting. As the most durable general-purpose industrial label material, they are suited for machinery, electrical equipment, technical parts and products exposed to aggressive environments.

Typical applications

Compatible adhesives
Acrylic permanent: general-purpose and outdoor; good UV, humidity and cleaning-agent resistance.
High-performance acrylic: for difficult surfaces (untreated PE/PP, anti-stick coatings), higher initial tack.
Removable: for temporary labeling or provisional identification; removes cleanly under normal conditions.
High-temperature adhesive: formulated to maintain adhesion up to +200 °C continuous (for oven, drying or curing processes).

Material variants
Four finishes available: white matte, white gloss, silver metalized and transparent.

PET White matte
Reference finish for industrial labeling. Matte surface minimizes reflections and improves optical barcode reading.

Integrates with the substrate surface; no visible white background to conceal the base material.

Typical uses:

• Discrete labeling on containers, bottles and colored surfaces.
• Identification of components where a white background is not acceptable.

Selection criteria

• When to choose: exposure to solvents, oils, diluted acids or industrial cleaning agents; temperature ranges from -40 °C to +150 °C; need for long-term durability in demanding conditions; flat or mildly curved surfaces where rigidity is acceptable.
• When not to choose: highly contoured or irregular geometries (use more flexible materials); short-cycle applications where label cost is critical; when printing without ribbon is required (polyester requires resin ribbon).

Printing notes and resistance
Polyester requires a resin or premium mixed ribbon; wax ribbons are not suitable for chemical or abrasive environments. When printed with resin ribbon, labels resist cleaning with isopropyl alcohol, diluted acetone and most common industrial solvents. For prolonged immersion in strong acids or bases, select the appropriate adhesive/front construction for the substrate.
