In the MD mixer, the mixed material passes through the whole length of the mixer and leaves after the previously determined dwell time using the overflow mechanism at the outlet that is operated either manually or through an automatic motor drive. This allows that the filling level and dwell time can be easily adjusted while mixing is in progress.
