Built for Performance The Mactech Dictator EPL Model D-418 is a portable, air powered tool capable of performing any degree of end prep on pipe up to 18 sch 160 using T-15 TiN coated cutter blades. Among many advances, the D-418 features a new ultra stable draw rod actuated clamping system that minimizes chatter and vibration, assuring maximum blade life and efficient operation. In Action The Mactech Dictator EPL model D-418 rigidly mounts to the pipe ID using a heavy duty self-centreing mandrel and produces precision end preps. Using standard Mactech cutting blades, the Dictator produces a thick chip, chatter-free, every prep.
