Overview
The Magnatech T-Head 419 welding head is designed to make pipe-to-pipe and pipe-to-fitting welds. Its full-function capabilities allow it to replicate the motions of a skilled manual welder. The T-Head 419 is intended for larger diameter and heavy-wall applications requiring the GTAW process. Interchangeable guide rings provide mounting on the pipe and allow the welding head to cover a broad size range. Mounting the head on an oversize guide ring with adaptor feet enables use on materials requiring preheat. In addition to pipe welding, the T-Head 419 can perform ID and OD welding on larger tanks, vessels, and ductwork via a patented flexible track system that enables stable installation on complex curved surfaces. The T-Head 419 improves productivity by increasing duty cycle and reducing repair rates.

Preheated Pipe Welding Capabilities
Preheat-resistant design: adaptor feet create an airspace between the welding head and the preheated surface to prevent heat damage. Adaptable mounting options: compatible with three types of adaptors for different applications: 25 mm (1”) adaptor square tube, 50 mm (2”) adaptor square tube, and 3–12 mm (0.13–0.5”) adaptor solid bar (custom sizes available). Heat management is designed specifically for CrMo and other heat-sensitive alloys to ensure consistent weld performance under elevated temperatures.

Advanced FLX-TRACK™ System
Flexible mounting: FLX-TRACK™ allows the welding head to adapt to curved surfaces for tanks, vessels, and ductwork. Modular track design: standard 2.3 m (7.5') track sections bolt together for extended lengths. Multiple attachment options: magnetic or vacuum attachments are available for secure mounting on different surfaces.

Adaptability Across Applications
Capable of both internal (ID) and external (OD) welds across cylindrical and curved surfaces. Customizable adaptor sizes and durable mounting solutions (guide rings and adaptors) ensure stable positioning during welding operations.
