Description

Magnetek's Black Max motor meets the needs of more common crane applications. Black Max motors have a foot mounted NEMA design, and a "C" face drive end and accessory "C" face. This modular design shortens delivery time and can be furnished with a variety of encoder and brakes options. Capable of a 1000:1 speed range, this motor series is a perfect companion to Magnetek's crane control panels. Features 1/2 to 50 HP Suitable for CMAA Class A through E 1.0 service factor with VFD control Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated (TENV) NEMA Design A or B, optimized for operation with VFDs Class F or H insulation, with a patented Max Guard winding system for use with VFDs Class F thermostats (klixons) in all three phases 40° C (104° F) ambient temperature rating F1 junction box (F2 available upon request) Modular design with C-Face end bells for maximum flexibility and quick delivery 3,300 ft (1,000 m) elevation rating Voltage 230/460, 3-Phase, 60Hz Optional brakes and encoders Two year warranty
