Please allow +6 weeks for custom shielding cans DESCRIPTION We offer a wide range of standard MuMETAL® Shielding Cans in either ROUND or RECTANGULAR shapes. All MuCans are 5-sided and most sizes offer optional Lids. Lids may be outside fitting / ODLID or inside fitting / IDLID. Most stock sizes have wall thicknesses of 0.020 in / 0,50 mm or 0.032 in / 0,80 mm and are formed using deep-draw specialty tooling (up to a 3:1 depth ratio). With our extensive inventory of forming tooling, magnetic shielding cans and lids are available in thicknesses from 0.014 in / 0,36 mm to 0.062 in / 1,58 mm thick and made from various MuMETAL®, Co-NETIC® B or NETIC® shielding alloys depending on your exact shielding requirements. Typically, our high permeability (µ) 80% nickel-iron MuMETAL® Shielding Cans are shipped with no finishing since our Perfection Annealing provides a bright nickel appearance after anneal. We do offer custom finishes including electro-polish, plating, powder coating and paint.
