The GEA 500J is a modified version of MAIT GEA 500 hydraulic crawler drilling rig, already well appreciated for its versatility. The GEA 500J is dedicated to full length longitudinal drilling in single operations as required in jet–grouting and fore-poling applications. A very long horizontal mast is rotated by means of an additional rear slewing ring and telescopic vertical arm, in order to perform pre-consolidation treatments in tunnel works. The rig can also be utilized with the very same mast for vertical drilling in particular for jet-grouting works. Various types of hydraulic rotary heads are also available, with different working characteristics to satisfy your drilling requirements. Upon request, the rig can be equipped with an electronic control and parameter recording system for jet-grouting purposes.
