Description
High-voltage battery systems for electric mobility require protection against water and dust ingress while allowing continuous pressure equalization. In the event of a rapid internal pressure rise (for example caused by thermal runaway), the venting unit provides controlled emergency venting to reduce pressure and protect the pack. The VentPlus product family offers solutions based on bursting membranes or reclosable valves, enabling selection according to packaging, safety and serviceability requirements.
