Vacuum conveyor

Product overview
The vacuum belt conveyor fixes products to the conveying belt by creating a vacuum inside the conveyor frame. This enables positionally secure transport without grippers or pallets and supports rapid acceleration, vertical ascent, overhead or lateral suspended transport. The system is suitable for continuous inline handling tasks such as coating, scanning, labelling or laser processing.

Basic structure & function
The conveyor frame is fitted with suction ports for an external vacuum source (e.g. industrial vacuum cleaner or side channel blower). Vacuum is generated inside the frame and transmitted to the product through holes in the perforated slide bed and the belt, holding the product to the belt during transport.

Variants & integration
mk offers belt conveyors and timing belt conveyors configured as vacuum belts. Only the conveyor frame and the belt are modified to enable the vacuum function. Timing belt conveyors provide a positive-drive, no-slip transport useful for synchronisation with vision systems. mk can supply individual components (belt, suction line, pump) or deliver a complete vacuum belt conveyor ready for integration.
