A down the hole drll, usually called DTH by most professonals,
s bascally a jackhammer screwed on the bottom of a drll
strng. The fast hammer acton breaks hard rock nto small
cuttngs and dust that are evacuated by a flud. The DTH
hammer s one of the fastest ways to drll hard rock.
Use the borng devce assembled on the ple drver to make
holes n rocks and unrenforced concrete.
The borng devce requres compressed ar for the percusson
of the tool and to remove the dust from the hole.
The ar must be lubrcated to avod damage to the borng head
