Product overview
Ideal for secondary crushing, the CRUNCH hammer mill is a horizontal-axis machine equipped with rotating hammers. It delivers a high degree of size reduction when fragmenting natural stone, concrete and low- to medium-hardness aggregates. Unlike STARK jaw crushers, CRUNCH is designed to produce a very finely ground product suitable for sand and fine aggregate production.
Working principle and structure
The hammers are manufactured in wear-resistant Hardox steel and their position can be adjusted to optimize wear life. Material is fed through the upper inlet (by hand or conveyor). Hammer speed and arrangement ensure material is repeatedly impacted until it is reduced enough to pass through the screening grid beneath. The finished product discharges through the lower hopper into a collection container.
