Mecamaq’s Double-acting Press is equipped with a floating headstock and is also operated by a motor. Electrical pedals and a hydraulic group are used to run the press through a motor. The cylinder headstock floats along the bridge of the press through bearings and a brake lock. This setting is useful in straightening large pieces, since the strength of the pressing cylinder can be used on various points. With a frontal width of 1500 mm, the model is built with a strong structure in a monobloc format.
Optional elements which can be equipped with the press are a pressure regulator, an anti-spinning device, an adjustment function of the courses, and a motorized movement of the bedplate.
