The model 3091F is a low-noise coaxial cable assembly designed for use on accelerometers with a 6-40 male socket. The instrumentation end of the cable is terminated with a male10-32 connector. The raw cable features a TFE jacketed cable with a proprietary low-noise treatment. The cable is 100% tested for triboelectric noise and capacitance. The cable capacitance is provided on a card shipped with the cable. The cable’s center conductor is welded to the 10-32 connector’s pin to ensure maximum pull-strength and minimum noise. The 10-32 connector incorporates a glass-to-metal dielectric providing a hermetic seal that protects against moisture ingression. The connectors and cable are manufactured in-house to ensure the highest quality product available and are the only cables of this kind in the industry.
